On behalf of the Cariboo Regional board of directors and staff, we salute our Armed Forces for their bravery and perseverance they have made in the past, present and the future to keep our country safe and free.
For those who have served and paid the ultimate sacrifice, we remember and we will never forget.
At this time of year, we also pay tribute to the families and their loved ones who are currently serving with our forces and on peacekeeping missions around the globe. We sincerely hope for your safe return soon.
For our service men and women from the Cariboo-Chilcotin, no matter where you are serving, you are in our hearts and we are very proud of your commitment to our region, our province and our country.
As the chair of the Cariboo Regional District, I encourage all of our residents to take a moment on Nov. 11 and remember our Canadian Forces who have served before us and those currently serving.
