Showcase Gallery, located on the lower level of the South Cariboo Business Centre at 475 Birch Ave., is a gem of venue for promoting local art.
Each month the glass encased display area features a different show of work done by a member of the Cariboo Artists Guild.
It's a perfect place for new and emerging artists to get their feet wet in making their work public, and a refreshing break for those who drop in for a look.
Most often, artwork spills out onto walls of the building's main lobby and hallways and one never knows what may be found.
The gallery is accessible Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
