St. Timothy's planning annual Christmas bazaar

100 Mile House Anglican Church offering gift ideas and attic treasure

St. Timothy's Anglican Church in 100 Mile House is hosting its annual Christmas Bazaar on Dec. 1 from noon to 3 p.m., featuring all kinds of gift ideas and attic treasures.

The ladies auxiliary is responsible for the event and will be offering their homemade soup, chili and legendary pie on the lunch menu.

Admission is free, and inside, shoppers will find crafts, quality used items, books, preserves and a bake table loaded with Christmas treats, which auxiliary secretary Colleen Lee says usually sells out fast.

"We have a reputation as good bakers."

Children will even have their own craft corner to keep them busy while their parents shop.

The fair takes place in the church basement and Lee says it will be decorated nicely in a holiday theme.

"We're putting a lot of effort into this and would like to see good support."

Money raised from the bazaar will be spent on items needed for the church, which aren't covered by its budget.
