Welcome to the wonderful world of Scouting.

Are you looking to challenge yourself, build leadership skills and generally have a fun time on a weekly basis?

If you are, this is the place to be.

The 100 Mile House Scouting programs are for youths aged five to 25 years, but these programs won't exist without our fantastic volunteer leadership.

Scouting will teach you how to run weekly programs and make a difference in a young person's life.

Do you remember the camps, games, and hikes you went on when you were in Scouts or Girl Guides?

Maybe you didn't have the opportunity when you were a child, but it's not too late to be a part of the fun.  Leadership applications for all youth groups are now being accepted, as well as registration for all the boys and girls out there who like to play outside, make fun things, and go camping.

Registration night is Sept. 27, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the 100 Mile United Church at 169 Dogwood Cres.

For more information, contact District Commissioner Sarah Smith at 250-395-2704.
