Room for one more?

100 Mile House will be home to "foodies" from all over British Columbia who are participating in the BC Food Systems Network (BCFSN) annual gathering July 6-10.

Speaking of homes, do you have space to billet one or two of the participants?

People are travelling to our community to participate in this event, and some of them will need a place to stay.

The topic for the July event is "Diversity and Resilience," discussing the diversity of each community, the resilience of the broad variety of plants, flora and fauna, and the needs of farmers, ranchers, people and the environment. Local contact Trish Chung is welcoming ideas for the gathering and workshop facilitators.

If you are able to help out; with billeting; facilitating a workshop; or have an idea in mind for the gathering contact Chung at tntchung@telus.net.
