Protect our future

A friend and I were talking the other day, and she has a new grand baby on the way and was wondering if she could use the old baby car seat from her first grand child.

It got us thinking about how it was back in our day.

Gone are the days when you just put the kids in the car and took off.

Maybe you'd give them some games or something to occupy them for the trip.

How naive we were.

Noticing the ads on TV stating that child seats have an expiry date got me to check it out on the Internet.

If a seat is past its expiry date or is more than 10 years old, people are advised not to use it.

I also saw where quite a few models of infant and child car restraint seats were being recalled.

Children are our most precious cargo, so be on the safe side and check out the website at trafficsafety@tsf-bcaa.com, click on links and resources and look for recalled models.
