Interlakes Community Centre (ICC) had a full house (125 people) for its International Dinner on March 19.

Guests pre-selected their meals of choice: Swiss, Greek or Chinese and all were enjoyed immensely.

Five door prizes were also awarded.

Landfill tags

Interlakes and Lone Butte residents have been issued with Cariboo Regional District rear-view mirror ID tags so they can continue to use their landfills.

As of April 1, vehicles without a resident’s tag will not be permitted access to the facilities.

In the event you lose your tag, replacements will cost $5 each. In the event you sell your property, the tag(s) should be left for the new property owner.

Tax returns

Gyl Connaty is available to do income taxes for those who qualify as “low-income” earners.

Gyl will be taking appointments for April 7, 9, 16, 18 and 23 at Interlakes Community Centre, but residents must phone the hall at 250-593-4869 to make an appointment.

Celebrations

Birthday bubbly goes to Cheryl Parker, Lola Sullivan, Sean Grahn and Dan Stewart, and for Dawn Caldwell’s 19th.

Many congratulations go out on April 3 for the wedding anniversaries Isabelle and Les Poirier who celebrate 57 years, and Celia and Joe Visscher who celebrate 47 years.
