Delivery of the 100 Mile Free Press will be impacted with the postal strike now underway.

This week Canada Post workers across the country voted overwhelmingly to authorize strike action ahead of the holiday season. The Canadian Union of Postal Workers could undertake strike action as early as Nov. 3, disrupting postal services nationally and locally.

In the result of a strike, subscribers to the 100 Mile Free Press who have their papers delivered via mail will not receive them. However, they will be able to pick them up at the 100 Mile Free Press' office at 250 Birch Avenue Unit #1 open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays.

The 100 Mile Free Press is also working on setting up alternative pickup points in outlying communities for subscribers. More information will be posted online as we confirm these locations.
