Hampers brighten Christmas for some Lac la Hache families

The Lac la Hache Volunteer Fire Department and Ladies Auxiliary members put together a number of Christmas hampers for less-fortunate area families. They stopped long enough for a photo before they left to deliver the goodies.

With the help of Santa, the firefighters delivered the Christmas Food Hampers, which the Lac la Hache Volunteer Fire Department and Ladies Auxiliary put together and distributed, to less-fortunate families around the area.Spokesperson Diane Woods thanks community members for coming together with their donations of food, toys and money that has helped make Christmas brighter for many area families.

Community hall happeningsBingo will resume on Jan. 11, with doors opening at 6 p.m. and bingo starting at 7.Community Club meetings are the third Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at the Lac la Hache Community Hall.

Hockey HappeningsThe Lac la Hache Tomahawks wind up their home games against the Quesnel Kangaroos Jan. 7, starting at 7:30 at Rolf Zeis Memorial Arena.So come out and show your support and see some good hockey.
