Peter Skene Ogden Grad Class of 2011 challenged the teachers to a hilarious game of hockey on Feb. 9 at the South Cariboo Rec. Centre.

Officiating was questionable and plays unorthodox, but it was all in the name of fun and to raise some cash for dry grad celebrations, which take place in May.

Students won the match, 12-5, but there were other winners in the house, including Al Sidor who won four Vancouver Canucks game tickets and hotel accommodation as first prize in the grad raffle, which was drawn that night.

Fred Jewell won the second place pair of diamond earrings, and Rachael Lindberg was the third-place winner of a sling of oriented strand board. Herb Thomas won the fourth place spa escape package.

Central GM sponsored a 2011 Chevrolet Aveo as the grand prize in the grad "Shoot to Win" contest. Cathy Gagnon had her ticket drawn for the chance to shoot 16 pucks out of 20 into the net in 20 seconds. She was only able to net five and did not win the car.

Wayne Belcher won more than $300 in the 50/50 draw and Ashton Ostrander was winner of the paper airplane toss for a prize of a gift basket. Lara De Kok won a Canucks jersey in the toss.
