Fledgling Geese

Photos of some Canadian geese in 100 Mile House

A family of Canadian Geese have made the 100 Mile Marsh their home this summer.

These goslings are already losing their baby feathers and developing the iconic plumage associated with the Canadian geese. Come fall they will join their parents in flying south for the winter and, should they survive, return to 100 Mile House next spring.
