Dinner auction benefit

A fundraising event is being held as a benefit for Tom Chung to help with ongoing medical expenses due to his extended illness

A dinner and silent auction benefit will take place Aug. 23 at the Valley Room in The Lodge.

The fundraising event is being held as a benefit for Tom Chung to help with ongoing medical expenses due to his extended illness.

A lasagna dinner and accompaniments, a cash bar for adults and a silent auction with lots of great items up for bid will ensure a fun evening for all the family.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and dinner will commence at 6.

Donations for the auction are still being accepted and much appreciated, says organizer Kathy Provost.

She can be reached at 250-395-4811 or herbalist kathy@gmail.com to arrange donations, or for tickets or information.

Tickets are $10 each or $5 for children (12 and under) and are also available at Higher Ground Natural Foods and Parkside Art Gallery in 100 Mile House.
