Connect with vendors, summer in December

Winter farmer's market returns with warm indoor venue

The South Cariboo Farmers' Market Society is holding its Second Annual Christmas Market in the 100 Mile Community Hall on Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This offers a chance for folks to shop indoors and select from many of the same great items they saw at the local farmers' markets held during the late spring and summer, as well as some new and holiday items.

There will be produce and meats, baking and preserves, chocolates and honey, wool and herbal products, and a selection of crafts available.

Music will entertain folks as they peruse the vendor tables and find gift items galore, says market manager Will Love.

"Our vendors are all on board, so it's going to be a great time to connect with those people they haven't seen since the end of September because that's it until spring.

"We are really hoping everybody is going to come on down and connect with all the people who are there."
