CCPL Summer Programming returns

The Cariboo Chilcotin Partners for Literacy Summer in the Park program is on now

This summer the Cariboo Chilcotin Partners for Literacy are running their Summer Park Program every Thursday in Centennial Park.

Designed for children aged zero to seven the program includes several sensory stations and toys for children to play with, books to read and resources for parents. This year the CCPL has partnered with the South Cariboo Community Enhancement Foundation. Family literacy co-ordinator Elke Baechmann, who helps run the program, said that different service providers will be attending throughout the summer including the Cedar Crest Society for Community Living and the Cariboo Family Enrichment Centre.

The program is on from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. July 18, July 25, Aug. 1, Aug. 8, Aug. 15 and Aug. 22.
