Local news

• The fitness program Zumba is still in progress on Wednesdays and Fridays at the 108 Mile Community Hall with a $10 drop-in fee.

What a great way to have some fun and get fit for the summer. For information, contact Gale Ogden at 250-396-7381.

• Asplundh is still removing trees and shrubs from the sides of the roads in the 108. Hopefully, this removal process will reduce damage to the power lines and prevent power loss.
