Interlakes Carpet-Bowling Club members golden at Canada Seniors Games

Stemming from their win at the recent BC Seniors Games, Interlakes Carpet-Bowling Club’s Fours were invited to the Canada Seniors Games at Sherwood Park in Strathcona County, Alberta on Aug. 28-31.

Our little corner of Canada has become famous, and congratulations must go to Kitty Carroll, Rose and Robert Magnusson and Marion Mickelsen, who won the gold medal in the 70-plus competition.

Interlakes Carpet-Bowling Club plays all year at Interlakes Hall. Newcomers are always welcome any Tuesday from 1 to 4 p.m.
