Auction successful

The auction that took place March 26 at Interlakes Hall for Club Excel Rhythmic Gymnastics was a roaring success.

While attendance was not high, those who did attend raved about the meal provided by ICA, and the decadent desserts.

Auctioneer Stuart McFadden was his usual humorous self while dealing with the many donated auction items, and the generous guests raised $1,659.50 to help the club travel to the quadrennial Gymnestrada in Switzerland this July.

Today (April 6), birthday bubbly goes to Sean Grahn on his 25th, and to Lola Sullivan.

On April 11, Howard Malm celebrates his 81st birthday, while Dave Tute hits a less auspicious number.
