The community sends its warmest congratulations to Lynda Mae NcNabb and Art Wilson who tied the knot at home on July 31.

Married in their garden on Shertenlib Road by a marriage commissioner, and before witnesses Sabine Blair and Bill Jaenicke, the couple welcomed some 50 guests to the nuptials.

After “all the kerfuffle,” the couple took a motor home vacation “up North.”

Trash meetings

For those interested in, or are concerned about, trash, the Cariboo Regional District will be holding public meetings to provide information and receive feedback on options for handling solid waste, including recycling and composting.

Options for improvements have been developed using technical information from consultants and from a 24-person public advisory team.

The meeting for the Interlakes area is scheduled for 7 p.m., Oct. 18 at Interlakes Hall.

Celebrations

Birthday bubbly goes to Isabelle Poirier and Marion Traill.
