The TCMHA Warriors

The TCMHA Bantam hockey team played in a tournament in Clearwater on Feb. 4-5 and came in with a respectable third-place finish.

Some of the Clinton novice hockey players will be playing in their first big tournament on Feb. 17-19 in Lillooet, as members of the Ashcroft novice team. They hope to have a game in Clinton in March.

Keep your eyes open for posters, so you can come out and support our local youth in their hockey games.

Big Buck winners

The Clinton & District Outdoor Sportsman's Association (C&DOSA) held its annual Big Buck Contest on Jan 21.

Derek Elliott was first, while Lisa Coldwell and Andrew Johnson placed third.

Congratulations to the winners and everyone who attended with their trophy bucks from the 2011 hunting season. The C&DOSA works hard to put on this event every year and always provides excellent prizes for the contestants.
