Come on out to the Watch Lake-Green Lake Community Association (WLGLCA) garage sale on April 1 at the Watch Lake Community Hall from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and see what treasures might be there.
A pancake breakfast/brunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

First responder course slated
If you are interested in becoming a first responder for our area, there is a course scheduled in the second week of May.
You will need to have a current Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) licence, and if you do not have this, a CPR course will be held on May 6.
The first responders’ course consists of four days of instruction and the fifth day will be for the written and practical exam. Please contact first responder Gisele Poliseno at 250-395-9082, or Andy Palaniak at 250-456-7460 for more information.

A happy wedding anniversary goes to George and Candace Tyler. They will be celebrating this special day on April 2.

• The Watch Lake North Green Lake Volunteer Fire Department is now practising on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. New members are always welcome. If you would like more information, contact Andy Palaniak at 250-456-7460.
• The WLGLCA next meeting is on April 16 at the Watch Lake Community Hall. Social at 7 p.m.; meeting at 7:30.
• The Watch Lake & District Women’s Institute meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at the Watch Lake Community Hall. Social and crafts at 11 a.m., and meeting commences at 12:30 p.m. Bring a lunch.
