Another successful Christmas dinner in 70 Mile House

Community news happening around the 70 Mile area of the South Cariboo

The South Cariboo Community Fellowship dished out 112 meals to men, women and children of all ages.

They provided turkey, ham, potatoes with gravy, dressing, a variety of vegetables, desert and beverages, all served by volunteers.

After dinner, there were Christmas carols and entertaining presentations. It was a very enjoyable evening.

A large quantity of food donations was collected for the Loaves and Fishes Outreach.

Cash donations were collected for residents in need. Seventy Mile Access Centre (SMAC) matched these donations.

Thanks to Ron and Kathy Wiebe for organizing this event, and thanks to all of the volunteers who cooked and served.
