108 Mile Ranch Greenbelt area getting a brand new fence

This summer, a new fence will be installed in the 108 Mile Ranch in Walker Valley below Gloinnzun Crescent and the Kallum Loop.

It will replace the very old worn out fence that is there now. This would be a good time for residents to clean up that area and establish property lines.

Pothole problem

We are still waiting for our famous potholes to be filled!

The potholes seem to be getting bigger and more dangerous as time goes on, and the drivers of the pickup trucks and campers are even complaining.

Hopefully, our road maintenance crew will be doing something about this problem soon.

School is out

Summer is here, even though it has been a wet one.

Please remember that school is closed for the summer and there are more children on the roads going from one place to another.

This would be a good time for drivers to pay attention to the 50 km/m speed limit and stop at posted Stop signs.

One Church Service

A One Church Service will be held on Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. at the north end of the Save-On-Foods parking lot, so mark your calendars for that day.

Many churches and the general public will be in attendance, so bring your own chairs and park over at the 100 Mile House Elementary School.

Baptisms will be done, so if you are interested in a baptism, contact Pastor Rick Barker of the Cariboo Christian Life Fellowship (in the 108 Mile Ranch) at 250-791-5532.
