Warren Rislund, age 49, passed away suddenly January 5, 2010 at Forest Grove. He was born in Ashcroft, BC on July 13, 1960. He grew up at Forest Grove, where he attended Forest Grove Elementary and later Peter Skene Ogden Secondary in 100 Mile House.

Warren enjoyed hockey as a young man and served as an outstanding goaltender for many teams representing 100 Mile House. He worked at the plywood mills in 100 Mile House and Williams Lake before joining his father’s business as a log hauler.

Warren was a true country boy, he also enjoyed boating, fishing, and just driving around the many back roads. His greatest joy was his two sons, Orrey and Joey. His gentle caring ways will be missed by all of his friends and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Forest Grove Legion Hall. Pastor Pat Melanson will officiate.
