Walter passed away in the early morning of May 27, 2016 in the 100 Mile Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
He is sadly missed by his loving wife Jean of 55 years, sons; Kelly (Kim) and Alan, daughters; Debra (Darrell) and Marianne, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Walter was born in Lachine, Quebec and came to B.C. in 1951. Walter and Jean were married in 1961 and moved to Lac La Hache in 1971. Walter was a member of the Lac La Hache Fire Department and the Lac La Hache Lions Club for several years. He was a building contractor (Interior Renovations) and built many homes in the 108 Mile Ranch and surrounding areas. Walter and Jean later moved to the 100 Mile area in 2005.
There will be no formal service as requested by Walter.
