After a lengthy illness Vivian is now at rest. On Wednesday, June 20th, 2007 Vivian was at home in Gibsons, B.C., and passed away peacefully to join Don. Although Vivian and Don resided in Gibsons for the past few years, they fondly remembered their friends here in 100 Mile House. Most dear in their memories were their treks into town to meet the Gang at A & W, or the friends and staff at Yummers. Vivian is survived by eight children: Wayne (Jean) Chilliwack, B.C.; Bonnie, Sointula, B.C.; Vicki (Harold) Gibsons, B.C.; Donna (Russ) Edson, Alberta; Barb (Carl ) Sacramento, California; Ron (Carol) Forest Grove B.C.; Russ (Barb) Abbotsford B.C.; Lori (Wally) Gibsons B.C. 23 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren also survive Vivian, as Vivian just met the newest born a few days before she passed away. We are all saddened dearly at the loss of such a dear friend… Mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. The family is planning a Celebration of Life for Don and Vivian where their roots began in Gibsons, B.C.
