Viljo Vieno Kaarama was born Dec. 25, 1930 in Impilahti, Finland. He came to Canada in 1959 and settled in Vancouver. Retired in 100 Mile House, BC where he loved the outdoors spending time fishing and hunting. Passed away peacefully at Vancouver General Hospital on December 26, 2006. Survived by his beloved wife Eeva of 47 years; son Peter and daughter Pia (Gary). He leaves behind three grandchildren, Kristopher, Ryan and Janelle. Viljo will be sadly missed by family and friends in Canada and Finland. A celebration of Viljo’s life will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 2:00pm in the 100 Mile House Funeral Home - 225 South Cedar Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Heart & Stroke Foundation.
