It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Tom Muir. Tom was born in New Westminster, BC on October 31, 1928 and died peacefully in 100 Mile House, BC on January 10, 2007. Tom is survived and dearly missed by his loving wife, Ann Jane (nee Laverty), sister Janis (Jan), Ernie McEnaney, daughters Patricia (Mike) Ryan and Ann-Marie Caillet, son Paul (Rachel), grandchildren; John, David, Kira, Aidan, Gavin, Amanda and Joshua, as well as 3 great grand children, nieces and nephews . Tom was pre deceased by his brother Andy in 2004. Tom spent 48 years as a cobbler in New Westminster and upon his retirement in 1992 he and Ann moved to Horse Lake. He loved duck-hunting, fishing and prospecting, but was happiest being “everybody’s grandpa”. Tom was always a caring, gentle man who was loved by one and all. He is truly missed by those who knew him. Donations in Tom’s memory can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society. A Celebration of Life

A celebration in honor of Tom’s life will be held on Saturday June 9th, 2007 between 1:00pm and 4:00pm in the Valley Room, behind the Lodge Conference Centre. Reverend Graham Witcher officiating.
A potluck dinner gathering
will follow the service
at the home of Ann Muir.
