Predeceased by husband Walter on June 18, 1987. Granny passed away from cancer on Feb. 6, 2008 at the age of 87 years. She was living with her daughter Grace and Ed Steitzer. We had some good Domino games which she loved to play and made the most of our time together. Granny loved her gardening, bingo, knitting and her cat Penny who has now made her home with us. Survived by son Bill (Laurie) and granddaughter Shelly Nimmo; daughter Grace (Ed) Steitzer, grandchildren Ken, Debbie, Tammy and predeceased by grandson Stephen on July 31, 2007; great grandchildren Mikayla, MacKenzie and Kendall Steitzer; Jackson and Tyson Miller and Nathan, who will all miss those Domino games at the kitchen table with Granny. She also has one surviving brother Albert (Rilla) Morris from Kamloops. Interment at Ocean View, Burnaby on Feb. 27, 2008. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date when out-of-town family and friends can travel.
