Suzanne Juliette Catherine Marie Ghislaine WALRY (nee Leloux)

Suzanne died a peaceful death Dec. 7, 2007. She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years Albert; her children: Christine (Daniel), Christian (Suzanne), Philippe (Marnie) et Pierre (Louise); her grandchildren: Jocelyne, Marc, Justin, Nicolas, Ashley, Nicole, Devon and Jesse. She is also survived by her brother Jean-Claude Leloux and family in Chatelineau, Belgium. She was born in Chatelineau, Belgium on Aug. 15, 1936 and moved to B.C. in July 1967 with her four young children to join her husband, Albert. She lived in the Lower Mainland before retiring at Hathaway Lake in the Cariboo in 1988. Suzanne was a very loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother (Bobonne) who will be truly missed by all every day. She was famous for her waffles (Suzanne’s galettes), her delicious cookies, her variety of European pies and her rabbit stew. She loved spoiling her family with her wonderful creations. She will be remembered for always putting everyone before herself. Suzanne was also a volunteer of the Sulphurous Ladies Auxiliary and also volunteered her time to the Roe Lake and District Recreation Commission. No flowers please. Memorials may be sent to 100 Mile House Hospital and to Fischer Place. The family would like to thank the caring kind nursing staff at 100 Mile House Hospital and Dr. Street. We would also like to thank the Fischer Place staff for their support. There will be Mass at St. Jude’s Roman Catholic Church in 100 Mile House at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 followed by a reception at 2:00 p.m. at Roe Lake Hall on Highway 24.
