Stephen Anthony RENWICK

May 21, 2005

Steve quietly passed away during the early evening of May 21, 2005 at the Fraser Hope Lodge (Hope) where he had been a resident for the past four years. He was born on June 11, 1916 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A Veteran of WWII, he was part of the Italian Campaign. Returning to Canada he lived in Vancouver and worked in the Automotive Dept. of the Woodward’s Department Store on Hastings St. for 30 years. Predeceased by his wife Ada, he then moved to 100 Mile House to be near his loving daughters and their families. Left to miss him dearly are his daughters, Flo (Roy) MacIntosh and Alberta Sinclair, both of 100 Mile House, brother Jack (Carol) of Hope and sister Anne of Port Coquitlam. His greatest joy was his four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and most recently great great grandchild.

Steve had a great love and respect for all God’s creatures; especially dogs and horses. He enjoyed bowling and photography in his earlier years. Steve chose to live each day to the fullest, appreciating and respecting God’s word in his own way. No service by request. A family gathering will be at a future date in 100 Mile House. In lieu of flowers you may wish to make a donation to the Cancer Foundation. In his memory please sow peace and kindness to others.
