The family of Rosa Mobbs announces her peaceful passing on April 6, 2005 at the age of 82 after a long struggle with cancer. Rosa was predeceased by both of her parents; husbands Jack King and Ben Mobbs; brothers George and Lenard Schneider. She is survived by sister Mary Chisholm of Burlington, Ont.; her children Barbara Lucas (Gerry), Gordon King (Cindy), Carol Thompson (Clifford), Judy Van der Zwan (Henk), Ian Mobbs, Danny Mobbs (Sandy); her grandchildren Leeyann Allan (Danny), Lita Lucas (Glen), Linda Vogelaar (Jakub), Lorna Vogelaar (Ray), Lenard Vogelaar (Angela), Nikki Mobbs, Jessie Mobbs; many step grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. A memorial tea and celebration of life will be held April 16, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Williams Lake Sportsmen’s Association Club House on Bond Lake Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
