Our beloved mother and wife has passed into the loving arms of our Lord at the young age of 69. Pat was born in Vegreville, Alta and married her soulmate and ever-loving husband, Orval Kliewer, on Oct. 6, 1960. They farmed for 30+ years in the Fraser Valley and then retired at Bridge Lake, B.C. After a courageous fight with cancer, she passed quietly at home with her family near by. She is predeceased by her parents Adeline (nee Hofeld) and Andrew Hutzkal. She is survived by her husband Orval, her two daughters: Debora (Sherwood Park), Kathy and husband Cliff; grand-children: Travis and Megan (Sherwood Park, Alta.); her sisters: Jane (Surrey), Judy (Delta), Joyce ( Colorado, USA); brothers: Don (Keremeos, B.C.), Richard (Fort McMurray, Alta.) and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all those for their help and support given during the courageous battle.
Memorial service will be held on August 3, 2010 at Interlakes Community Hall at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the 100 Mile House Hospice Society or a charity of your choice.
