1931 - 2009
Norman Daniel Ewart, age 78, of Lac La Hache, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Vancouver General Hospital.
He was born July 7, 1931 in Vancouver. His family moved to Lac La Hache in 1941 where he worked with his family running the Timothy Lake Lodge. Norman enjoyed hunting, fishing, curling, and playing golf during his retirement years.
He is survived by his wife Betty, sister Elva Ogden, two daughters: Brenda (Deryl Truman), Leslie (Les Janot) and five grandchildren: Leah, Breanne, Derae, Clarke, and Kurtis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the Lac La Hache Community Hall.
