Norman Clifford (Norm) COBURN

Norm passed away suddenly at his home in Kamloops, B.C. on Jan. 13, 2005. He is survived by Marla, his loving wife of 49 years; daughter Barb Hinsche, Penticton, B.C.; son, Cliff Coburn (Gloria), 100 Mile House; five grandchildren Jason Hinsche, Tasha Hinsche, Ronelle, Mallery and Roseanne Coburn; older brother Ken Coburn and family, Enderby, B.C.; sister Doreen Corbett and family, Burnaby, B.C.; as well as several nieces and nephews. Norm was predeceased by his father, Charles; mother, Ethel and brother Harold. Norm and Marla made their home in the Cariboo for many years, raising their children as Norm worked at various logging camps, helped in the construction of the 108 Ranch as well as running his own equipment. There will be no service in the cold weather, by request. A celebration of Norm’s life will be held July 8, 2005 in Chase, B.C. Details to follow at a later date. Norm will be sadly missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
