Noah Huntley

October 31, 2003

Dec. 19, 1970 - Oct. 31, 2003

After an unexpected but courageous battle with cancer, Noah died peacefully at the age of 32. He will be forever loved and missed by his wife and soul mate, Diana, of 9 years, parents

Mike and Marilyn Huntley, sister Shannon (Michael & Alexei), In-laws Bill and Annie Dreyer, James (Melanie, Faye & Luke), special friends Carl and Becky McLennan (Olivia & Ava) and numerous other dear friends and family. Noah grew up on a small hobby farm in Lac La Hache, BC, where he fell in love with the outdoors. The natural choice for an occupation was in forestry, which he earned a Diploma and his Degree. He practiced forestry for the past 12 years all over BC, eventually settling in Vernon. Noah loved all sports, but his ultimate passion was hockey, which he played since he was a child. He became a devoted Canucks Fan and truly enjoyed coaching the sport. Noah loved spending time with his family and friends and will be truly loved, missed and remembered by all. The Huntley's would like to thank all the family, friends, nurses and doctors who visited and assisted with the care and emotional support during the past few months. A special thank you to Dr. Pritchett, Dr. Johnson, Dr. Hardy and all the staff at the Cancer Centre for all their compassion during Noah's treatment and to Chrissy Stahl and Kara Hoffman for the strength. There will be a gathering at Paddlewheel Community Hall at 7813 Okanagan Landing Road, Vernon on November 15, 2003 at 2pm for all those who wish to attend. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Lorali Comfort Fund or the Foundation Cancer Care at the Tom McMurtry & Peter Baerg Cancer Centre located at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
