Our loving, good-natured mom passed away suddenly and peacefully in 100 Mile Hospital.
Predeceased by her devoted husband Herb, and loving brothers Leonard and Larry Hanson.
Survived by daughters Selene Berg (Freddie), Darla McDermid (Dan), five grandchildren, Georgina “Gina” Knutson, Trevor Berg, and Ryan, David and Amanda “Mandy” McDermid, eight great grandchildren, two wonderful sisters Doris Brown, Joyce Thompson, and kind brother Clifford Hanson and by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Caring, compassionate and fun-loving, mom provided her daughters the best childhood ever!
At mom’s request there will be no formal service. A family gathering was held. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the BC Heart & Stroke Foundation.
