It is with great sadness we announce that Michael Jason Goltz needlessly passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016.
Born November 14, 1973 in Chilliwack, B.C., he moved to Port Alberni as a child and then moved to Abbotsford in the Fraser Valley as a teenager.
Mike loved sports, primarily football and rugby. He was selected to play football with senior high school students while only in junior high at Clearbrook Junior Secondary school. Mike graduated high school from Abbotsford Senior and was an accomplished member of the Huskies football and All Blacks rugby teams.
After graduating, Mike worked driving truck for multiple companies in the Fraser Valley and in the Cariboo. He enjoyed working on cars and trucks, both his own and his friends’. He loved the outdoors - especially camping, fishing and hiking .
He will be remembered for his sense of humour, generosity, kindness and love of animals.
He is survived by his son, Ethan; his sister, Dianna; and his mother, Evelyn.
