Leslie Peder HANSEN

April 18, 2007

Les was predeceased by his parents Peder and Lillian Hansen. He is survived by brothers; Lorie and Ken Hansen, sister, Julie (Ken) Hoschka, and two nephews, Nonda Speaks and Kyle Peders. Les grew up in Aldergrove, BC. He moved to the Cariboo about 8 years ago and chose to live at Rail Lake, where he enjoyed snowmobiling, four-wheeling, hunting, and was an avid fisherman. The family extends a special thanks to Les’ girlfriend Joanne Madiuk, Dr. Blair Main, and the Acute Care staff at 100 Mile Hospital for taking such good care of Les. Les was a special person, a big man with a big heart and a sense of humour to match. He never said “no” to helping anyone and was happy to lend a hand. Les was known as “Rail Lake Security” to all his friends around the lake. A celebration of life gathering will be held at the Elks Hall, 27309 Fraser Highway, Aldergrove, BC on Saturday May 05, 2007 between 1:00pm and 4:00pm. Life won’t be the same with you not in it. Les will be missed.

A memorial Bonfire gathering will be held at Les’ girlfriend Joanne’s place on Sunday, May 20, 2007 at 3:00 p.m., 5262 Timothy Lake Road, Lac la Hache, B.C. 395-4541.
