Feb. 11, 1933 - Feb. 16, 2010

Mom (Joyce) joined Dad (Edgar) in heaven on February 16, 2010. Mom passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus, in Kamloops, after a broken leg prompted a hospital stay there.

Mom was born to Thomas and Gladys Scott in Edmonton, Alberta; the eldest of two children. When Mom was three, her family moved to Burnaby, B.C., her childhood and teenage years were spent in the Lower Mainland.

On November 23, 1957, Mom married her one and only love, Edgar Newton Fraser. After eleven years of marriage, and four children, the family moved to 100 Mile House, B.C. in 1968. Mom supported Dad in his business endeavors, also staying at home to raise their children. In 1977, when Dad took ill and was forced to retire, Mom went to work at the Village Office as a Confidential Secretary. She remained a faithful, hard-working employee until retiring in 1997.

Through Mom’s entire life, her faith kept her strong ~ her family was always the most important ~ she put everyone’s needs before her own to the very end. Mom was a devoted, loving wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, auntie and friend.

Mom will be lovingly remembered by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren:

Heather (Bill); Cara (Matt), Madison, Ty, Grayson, Luke; Laura

Brent (Judy); Joshua, Aaron

Deborah (Stephen); Amelia, Brittany

Scott (Sherri-Lynn); Thomas, Melissa, Nathaniel, Rebecca

Her brother, Gerry (Janice) and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Predeceased by parents, Thomas and Gladys and husband, Edgar.

We want to thank everyone that supported Mom and touched her life, and for walking our family through this difficult time. For friends and family, too numerous to mention ~ we thank you.

Celebration of Life will be held on: Saturday, February 27th, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Bethel Chapel, 100 Mile House, B.C.
