Joseph Lynn PLEWES

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lynn Plewes, long time resident of 100 Mile House, on June 6, 2007 at the age of 81. Lynn was born in Moosomin Sask. on October 25, 1925. He moved to the Cariboo in 1960 with his beloved wife Leslie and four young children. Dad loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting; but he especially loved to play pranks. He was a shipwright by trade and upon coming to the Cariboo he worked at Ainsworth Lumber for over 20 years. His legacy will continue through his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lynn touched many lives and will be missed. He was predeceased by his wife, Eileen Leslie Plewes; his parents, Joe and Vera Plewes; wife, Louise Wheeldon and son-in-law, Lawrence Hadden. He is survived by his sister Jean Duhamel, his children Linda (Fred) Hawkshaw, Carol Hadden, Bill (Lynn) Plewes and Bob Plewes; grandchildren Raymond (Nancy) Hadden, Malcom (Erin) Hadden, Freddy (Christina) Hawkshaw, Pat Hawkshaw, Barb (Ron) Hadden, Tricia (Terence) Urbanowski, Ivan Plewes, Richard (Jenn) Plewes, Christina (Lee) Plewes and Brandon (Jenna) Plewes; great-grandchildren Alexander, Justin, Tyler, Melissa Hadden; Cheyenne, Tanis, Dakota Smith; Emily, Laura Urbanowski; Haley, Cody Plewes; Kiley Plewes; Hamish Hadden Tough; Carter Hawkshaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.
