Jack was born in Nelson, BC on January 18, 1931 and passed away suddenly after a very brief illness on May 20, 2009. Jack retired in 1986 after working 40 years as a hydro lineman. He spent his retirement years operating the 94 Mile Hotel with Helen. Jack is survived by his long time companion Helen Crookes, his sister Lorraine in Nelson, his sons: Colin (Cheryl) and Kevin, daughters: Karen and Kim (Don), four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
