Jean Rettie Coleman, age 89 of 100 Mile House, BC, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2010 at Millsite Lodge.
She was born and raised in Loverna, Saskatchewan. Her parents were Ferguson and Emma Will. She moved to B.C. at the age of 19. Later she met and married Everett Coleman in 1943. They resided in Burnaby and Surrey for many years. They moved to Salmon Arm around 1980.
Jean loved to work in her garden, and was also a volunteer at the Seniors Centre in Salmon Arm.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and she will be missed by all who knew her.
Jean is survived by her two daughters: Jo Ann (Gerry) Downes, Norma (Jim) Browne; four grandchildren: Jodi, Warren, Kelly and Scott; two great-grandchildren: Fenna and Averi; and one brother: Ferguson Will.
She was predeceased by two brothers: Leslie Will, Jim Will; and sister Olive Bishop.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
