Grant David LAW

June 26, 2005

Sept. 11, 1983 - June 26, 2005

Grant was born in 100 Mile House, little brother to Jaime, son to Dan and Colleen Law. He came home to the ranch at Bridge Lake where he grew up. He attended Bridge Lake Elementary to grade 7, then into 100 Mile House for the high school years. He graduated from Peter Skene Ogden in 2001. Grant was a jock from day one, playing hockey before he went to kindergarten. He played minor hockey in 100 Mile, Super Series, Team BC, BC Best Ever under 16, Junior in Golden, then came home and played Senior hockey with the Bears. He had an exuberant and aggressive style that earned him almost as many awards as penalties. Grant lived life on his own terms, he knew what he wanted and never settled for less. He had a ton of energy and never did anything that he didn’t want to do. His driving skills were legendary, one of his dreams was to drive in an off-road rally. Grant was a leader, his friends remember him as a happy person, lots of fun to be around. He was living at home with his sweetheart Kristin Lautrup and working with the family when he passed away. His joys were tormenting his mother, teasing Kristin, beating the **** out of Steven and playing with his two little nieces. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Survived by parents Dan and Colleen, girlfriend Kristin Lautrup, brother Jaime (Sandy), nieces Logan and Emma, grandparents Dave Law and Irene Parmeter and many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family of Grant Law would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for all the cards, food, flowers and hugs. We would also like to thank all the people who helped to make this difficult time easier for our family. What a wonderful community we live in.

Dan, Colleen, Kristin
