Grace VAN DUZEN

May 17, 1912 – Nov. 21, 2004

Graced passed on peacefully at her home near Loveland, Colorado on Sun., Nov. 21, 2004. This completes a rich life of service, fully lived and enjoyed. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and was secretary for 33 years to the late Lord Martin Cecil, leader of Emissaries of Divine Light. She spent extensive time in 100 Mile House from 1954 to 1994, then she permanently returned to the United States. Grace was a biblical scholar who spoke and taught on the subject and collaborated with other scholars. She wrote two books, one on the history of the Emissaries of Divine Light, and her most recent, “The Book of Grace”, based on her lifetime of research and study of the Bible. Grace had a lifelong interest in the performing and fine arts. Many people young and old around the world have been blessed by Grace’s keen interest and friendship. Her life will be celebrated in a memorial service on Sat., Dec. 11, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. The service will originate at Sunrise Ranch in Colorado, with an international teleconference connection to the Log Chapel (behind the Lodge) in 100 Mile House.
