Gloria was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and met the love of her life, Jack Ross, there. They married in 1957 and moved to Vancouver together in 1964. Soon after the move, Gloria began her career with CJ Services Architects in New Westminster. Together they started their family in 1958, having two wonderful and cherished children. After acquiring some land in the Cariboo in the mid 1970’s, Gloria and her husband, Jack, decided to move and become full time residents here after retirement in 1991. They bred and raised horses on their own at “Paints and Pines” for 25 years.
Gloria is survived by her devoted husband, Jack; her son, Kelly (Wendy); daughter, Leslie (Joe); granddaughter, Erin; and her grandson, Randy.
Gloria’s family extends sincere thanks to Dr. Gerald Lubbe and all of the staff at Mill Site Lodge for the excellent care they gave to Gloria.
There will be no service at Gloria’s request – raise your gaze to the sky and remember her.
