Frederick Hayden Potter

Member of Branch 16, Royal Canadian Legion; B.C. Hydro Pioneers; Founding and Life Member of the South Green V.F.D. , passed away the morning of Aug. 12, 2003, one day shy of his 80th birthday. Beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, Fred is lovingly remembered and sorely missed by his wife Dorothy; children, Lori (Roy) Button, Brad (Gail) and Donna (Barry) Naples; grandchildren Deanna, Alison, Tina, Barbara, Brandon, Alexandra; his sister Jean (Lloyd) Pavey. Predeceased by his brother Bert and his sister Anna. Fred and Dorothy took early retirement in 1980 and moved from South Vancouver to South Green Lake, where they had many happy memories and good friends. They moved to Langley in 1999. At Fred’s request, no formal service will be held, but for those desiring, donations made in his memory to the B.C. & Yukon Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Alzheimer’s Society would be most appreciated. Fred’s sense of humour and good-natured manner endured until his final days.
