Oct. 4, 1932 - June 28, 2010

Our beloved Elmer lost his courageous battle with cancer and has gone home to the Lord. Elmer is survived by his loving wife Jeanette of 53 years, and sons Karl (Liana), Bruce (Maria), Sean (Deanna) and four grandchildren Joshua, Ethan, Emma and Noah.

Elmer was born in Main Centre, Saskatchewan and relocated to British Columbia with his family in 1947. After retiring from Corrections, Elmer and his wife Jeanette, moved permanently to Ruth Lake to the home that the family built.

Elmer was well known for his homemade bread and was actively involved in his church. He enjoyed playing his guitar for the seniors at the Carefree Manor.

Thank you to Dr. Street, the nurses and care aides for their compassionate support.

A Memorial Service will be held at the 100 Mile Baptist Church (corner of Hwy 97 and Tatton Station Road) at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2010.

Memorial donations may be made to Gideon’s International Canada.
