Died in 100 Mile House at the age of 85. Predeceased by first husband, Claude Meldrum; sons Lewis Waite and Victor Meldrum; second husband Charley Waite; and Harlan Springett, partner to daughter Geraldine Nixdorf.Survived by sons Stephen (Joanne) Meldrum and Calvin (Anita) Meldrum, of Prince George, BC, Freeman (Sheila) Waite of 100 Mile House, BC; daughters Anna (Norm) Hamilton of Whitehorse and Geraldine Nixdorf of Lac La Hache, BC; stepsons Charles (Anne) Waite of 100 Mile House, BC and Reg (Audrey) Waite of Courtenay, BC; 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Also
survived by many nieces and nephews in Nova Scotia and Alberta. In lieu of flowers, donations to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
