Dwayne Eugene LADOUCER

March 12, 1962 – Sept. 12, 2006

Dwayne passed away at his home in Edmonton on Sept. 12, 2006 after a seven year battle with cancer at the age of 44 years. Dwayne is survived by his father Fred and mother Kay, both of 100 Mile House, B.C.; sister Bernice Jelfs of Thorhild, Alta.; nephew Jason of Whitecourt, Alta.; niece Brittany of Thorhild, Alta.; wife Sandra and stepsons John Lawrance (Krista Friesen) and Mathew Lawrance, all of Dawson Creek, B.C.; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in B.C. and Alberta. Dwayne was born and raised in 100 Mile and attended 100 Mile Elementary and Junior High Schools. He worked as a ride operator for West Coast Amusements for 20 years, travelling all over western Canada and Washington state. Dwayne resided in Whitecourt for eight years before moving to Edmonton, Alta. for health reasons this past spring. There will be a Memorial Tea for Dwayne at the 100 Mile Community Hall on Thurs., Oct. 5 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society or War Amps of Canada can be made in his name.
