Donna Jean Gauld, nee Senger, passed away August 27, 2007 surrounded by her loving family. She will be sadly missed by her husband Ron and sons Andrew and Michael, mother Kit Senger, mother-in-law Alison Gauld, sister Lorraine (Larry) Gillespie, nephews Cameron and Ryan; sister Pat (Jeff) Cheek, nephew Steven; sister-in-law Karen (Brendon) MacDonald, nephew Kevin, niece Heather; brother-in-law Ken Gauld, niece Jody (Neil) and nephew Shayne. Donna was predeceased by her father Konrad Senger in 2003 and her father-in-law Norman Gauld in 1984. Donna graduated from Columneetza High School in Williams Lake in 1976 and from St. Joseph’s Hospital, Victoria, as a Registered Nurse in 1979. She was a Pediatric Nurse at Kelowna General Hospital for 23 years. Donna will always be remembered for her kindness and for her infectious laughter. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 1st at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC with Mr. Clair Jantzen officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior, 399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 5L3. A gift in living memory of Donna will be made to “Holding Hands for Hospice” by Springfield Funeral Home.
